Day two of five for jeans!

Oops, I’m a day late! Hehe, I’ll be honest I wore spandex yesterday. I’m almost ashamed…
I had a few appointments to look at animals yesterday. For those that don’t know I’m a certified Animal Chiropractic and Massage Therapist. I try and book my appointments on my days ‘off’ so I don’t feel rushed. I absolutely love this aspect of my work life; yes I have a full-time position with the District but working with animals is what I love to do. It is my long term goal to do this full-time. One day, one day. Anyways, yes I spent the day wearing comfy pants. I woke up with a cold and felt sorry for myself so spandex pants it was.
Today however, I am rocking jeans and my husband and I are out of town for the day. We’re in the Metropolis of Grande Prairie; a magical place where they have Starbucks, a Costco and produce for less than you’d pay for a compact car. Ahhh, bliss!
I have a whole new appreciation for Monday’s now that I have them off, but more than that I am looking forward to spending the day with my husband -and spending money I shouldn’t!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday!

Here a few few picture of our day so far. I found myself trying on a few new clothes; in my favourite place: a book store, David’s tea and laying on a bed in Sears. We must not forget my wonderful Starbucks!

  1. Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was
super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new
to the whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for newbie blog writers?
    I’d genuinely appreciate it.

    1. I’m not sure I can offer much advice at this point. All I can really say is find things you’re passionate about or interested in -I think that comes across in your writing. I find being honest important as well. I chose to keep my blog to myself and a few close friends for the first little while, I found that allowed me to speak a little freer while I was getting my confidence up. I look forward to reading your blog!
